What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and the role description you provide during onboarding. That description is parsed into a structured profile (role, regions, focus areas, tone preference, delivery time, timezone) which we store so we can tailor your daily brief.

When the daily brief runs, we store a copy of each brief sent to you so you can read it again on the web. We do not store your IP address, browser fingerprints, or anything beyond what is strictly needed to produce and deliver the service.

Analytics events

We record a small set of event types so we can see whether the product is useful: when you sign up, complete onboarding, generate or open a brief, download a PDF, copy a link, click a source, rate a brief, pause, or delete your account. These events are stored in our own Supabase database — never sent to a third-party analytics service. You can read all events we hold about you at any time (RLS-scoped to your account). Deleting your account removes them.

Email opens and clicks are tracked via Resend (our delivery provider) and recorded against your account so we can see whether the brief is actually being read.

Where your data is stored

Sentinel uses Supabase (Postgres) for profile and brief storage, and Resend for email delivery. Your email and role description are sent to Anthropic and Tavily (via Orthogonal) at brief-generation time so the agent swarm can produce a personalized brief. These providers process the data only to complete the request; we do not authorize further use.

What we do with it

Generate your daily intelligence brief.
Send the brief to your inbox at your chosen delivery time.
Show your past briefs on the web at /brief/[id].
That is it. No advertising, no profiling, no sale or sharing to third parties.

Your rights

You can pause delivery any time from the dashboard, edit your profile in Settings, and permanently delete your account (including all stored briefs) from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible and immediate.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie (Supabase auth) so you stay signed in across page loads. No third-party tracking cookies, no advertising trackers.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or process data, we will update this page and notify active users via email.
